National Student Demo Route

Assemble 12 Noon ar ULU Malet Street, Central London

Nearest underground stations: Goodge Street, Russell Square, Euston, Euston Square, Warren Street.

The route will take the march from its starting point on Malet Street, through Trafalgar Square and up the Strand, before passing St Pauls’s and rallying at Moorgate Junction. This follows the decision to march on the City, rather than to Parliament, in the midst of fresh financial crises and Occupy LSX.

Construction industry workers called for a day of action againt the attack on pay and contracts conditions. Demo at 7AM in front of Pinnacle building site, Bishopsgate followed by another one at 11:30AM at The Shard, London Bridge. More information.

 

Taxi Drivers Protest

London taxi drivers will be holding a day of protest over attacks on the licensed taxi trade. Demo at 2PM outside the headquarters of TFL, Windsor House, Victoria Street SW1 followed by another one at Trafalgar Square at 4PM. More information.
